Why do you need maid insurance?
As per Ministry of Manpower’s (MOM) requirement, it is mandatory to purchase personal accident and medical insurance for your migrant domestic worker. Unforeseen situations can happen anytime to your domestic helper, potentially resulting in hefty medical costs. Insuring your helper will lessen your financial burden should the unexpected happen. ePROTECT helper offers comprehensive personal accident and medical coverage so it does not drain your finances.
What can you get with ePROTECT helper:
- A selection of plans and optional add-ons that go beyond the minimum requirements by MOM, to meet the unique needs of individual employers. This includes optional Dental Care and In-Hospital Psychiatric Care.
- Unlimited repatriation expenses (when services are provided by our appointed emergency medical assistance provider, Heng-Gref International Assists Pte. Ltd. Otherwise, limit of liability is S$10,000.
- Covers death and/or permanent disablement. Applicable to all plans except for Basic Plan.)
- Outpatient cancer treatment and/or outpatient kidney dialysis treatment benefit.
- Special grant of up to S$4,000 (including death from COVID-19).
- Critical illness payout of S$3,000.
- Letter of Guarantee will be processed upon successful application and transmitted to MOM within the same working day*.

* Letter of Guarantee is transmitted on Mondays to Fridays and half day on Saturdays.
